Clothes come out really clean
I needed a new washing machine and this one had good reviews. And it works well. What I was not expecting is to get any use from the 'steam' setting. This is an add-on to some of the cycles, where it uses small amounts of steam to enhance the cleaning. My nice towels had some dirt stains on them, which I had tried many ways of removing (by hand, rubbing in various types of detergents, laundry boosters, ...). Figuring it wouldn't hurt to try, I put these in and selected the steam setting.
Excellent steam feature
The LG WM2650HWA manages to deliver an excellent steam feature while keeping costs low - around the $900 mark. It's not just price consideration that earns it top honors however, but the combination of many features into one machine. This front-loader is incredibly energy-efficient, using an average of 5 gallons of water per load.
Decent in general
I've had the AWN542 for almost 3 years now. I initially bought it to get something sturdy, simple, without a lot of electronics that could go bad. I have had no mechanical problems with it so far, everything works okay. Generally it gets clothes clean. The one problem I do have is that it rips holes in clothes. Not every time, and not every load. Just on occasion. Jeans seem to be the worst, as I've had 3 pairs rip in the last 3 years.
Great for the price
I don't need the fancy washers and driers so this was perfect for me. It has sturdy knobs which was why I had to replace my old one. It has the usual settings for heavier and lighter loads and quick clean and extra clean. No issues, works great. This is the first time I've ever bought a Haier appliance. If I don't encounter any problems in the future with this machine, I will consider their other appliances when things need replacing.

Quiet Washing Machine
Haier RWT350AW is such a satisfied top load washer. Most users are delighted with the performance of this machine. We can see it from the reviews made by the customers. There are 6 reviews on Amazon.com. 4 customers gave 5 stars rating; and 2 customers gave 4 out of 5 stars. Most of the customers like this top load washer because this machine is easy to operate, itâ??
Good washer but very noisy
This Amana top-load washer is a good washer. It has many good features:
It has 3.4 cu. ft. of capacity which is great for a top-loader. I have a king size blanket/comforter that will fit in this washer which means no more trips to the laundromat!
It automatically locks the lid at certain times so it can spin faster. This enables better cleaning and is a good safety feature as well. Since I have small children, I appreciate this feature.
A nice, standard washer
First off, some people have complained about J.B. Hunts delivery service, but I have to say I had zero issues with them. They called a few days ahead to actually schedule a date and time. Then they called the day of to give me a 2 hour window and were pretty spot on with that time frame. When they arrived, they were fully prepared to not only install the new washer, but to remove my old one. As I was in the middle of construction at that time, I told them we would take care of all that.
Appropriate for small spaces
The Amana 3.4 cu. ft. Top-Load Washer with Sprekle Porcelain wash basket, NTW4600YQ, White is a must have appliance because of its ability to make your job easier without any stress. It cleans well and easy to operate.
Just what I was looking for!
Will this machine be reliable? Will it last sixteen years like my old Maytag? Only time will tell. However, I can tell you that it appears to be well built. It may not be flashy to look at, but it doesn't contain electronic touch-pad controls, a computer, or an LCD display to go bad just outside of the warranty period. In the event that something does go wrong, I don't think it's going to cost a fortune to have it fixed.
Feels sturdy and has a simple design
On a cost-benefit basis, the GE GFWN1100LWW is a fair and reasonable machine. If you're willing to forgo many features - such as pre-wash, something found commonly on higher-end washers - in favor of reliable performance, this GE is a good choice. While the GE GFWN1100LWW did have some trouble with delicates, its Stain Wash cycle obliterated traces of the enemies of cleanliness.
Expensive piece of Trash
I purchased an LG Washer WM2655HVA 4 months from Home Depot. A couple of months after purchasing the Washer we started facing issues with this Washer when it started giving an LE indicator ( indicating heavy load ). Though the load of clothes was average, we kept getting this message results every other day till we called LG Customer Representative who told us to reduce the load. Yesterday I put only 1 bedsheet for washing & we again faced the issue for 2 hrs 50 mins.
Easy detergent dispenser
This excellent graphite steel washer from LG combines the best of high efficiency with steam technology to form a truly worthy appliance. 3.6 cu. Ft. of capacity, 9 wash cycles, 5 temperature settings, anti-vibration, anti-noise, and an easy detergent dispenser are just some of the features this model boasts. Its easy operation is one of the keys to its highly-rated success. The steam function, although not top in its field, is excellent and translates well to your laundry.
High-efficiency front loader washing machine
The old top loading washer finally died, and I decided to buy a high-efficiency front loading machine. What a difference! This machine used much less water, much less detergent, and takes twice as long per wash cycle. However, it leaves clothing much dryer after the spin cycle, so you make up some of the extra wash time by means of a shorter drying time.
It mostly does a fine job.
Washes take awhile. No quick cycle.
As far as stackable front loading washers are concerned, you can't get more basic than the Amana Tandem NFW7300WW. With a $699 MSRP and a spartan exterior it's not going to end up in a glossy design magazine, but it will get your clothes quite clean. It only has three preset cycles and no custom features to speak of, which may turn off many buyers. But for those who want a totally foolproof unit, it's one of the best choices out there.
Good cleaning performance on bulky cycle
You get what you pay for with the Amana NFW7300WW; it was the least expensive of the front-loading washers we tested and it also turned in the lowest performance scores overall of the bunch (thought it still managed to outscore every top-loading washer we reviewed). The washer's cleaning scores were middling, though it did put in one of the higher scores we saw for bulky loads.
Pretty compact and it dries quickly
Though it's attached to a washer, the $1200 Maytag MET3800XW Dryer has good enough drying performance that it can compete against standalone washers.
It lacks any customizable features or drying cycle options, and its high-up placement means some users may find it hard to lift wet laundry, but its small footprint makes it ideal for homes that are short on space and its overall solid performance makes it a real bargain-buy competitor too.
