Plenty of customizable goodies
Get those Olympic logo socks over here, Usain Bolt, because the Samsung WF457ARGSGR/AA has one of the fastest Normal cycles we've seen, and the overall performance in terms of stain removal is satisfactory across the board. This MSRP $1,799 washer ($1,530 on sale), while certainly not the top contender, does a solid job nonetheless. We only wish that it was less expensive to run, more competitive in terms of clothes handling, and a bit better with water retention.
Well-received and excellent operating machine
Samsung runs a competing model to the LG WM2250CW. They both contain simple operation and affordable price points. They have both also expanded that line, adding a couple more features and charging a touch more for those features. This Samsung is part of the next step up, containing a few more wash cycles, and a stainless steel rim that adds a touch of class to a somewhat basic model. With a 3.7 cu. ft. capacity, 9 cycles, and VRT technology, this is only a slight step up from the #1 model.
Good cleaning performance
The Samsung WF330ANW/XAA front-loading washer gets good ratings from both professionals and users for its cleaning performance, quietness and low vibration. This 3.7-cubic-foot washer is Energy Star-rated and features nine wash cycles (including a high-temperature sanitize cycle), and four spin speeds.
I purchased this washer/dryer pair about three months ago, replacing a 12year old kenmore top loader. I was concerned about vibration, odor, how the machine would hold up etc. But so far it has been an excellent performer. I will take note from the other reviewer and jot down the serial number, just in case.
My biggest thumbs up is savings in water and reduced drying time.
Stain and debris removal were uneven depending on cycle choice
The Samsung WA5471ABP (MSRP $1299) is not a cheap washer. Not only does it look and feel expensive, but it costs a lot to purchase and operate. If you need a washer with a large capacity and lots of custom wash cycles and also have cash to spare, the WA5471ABP is a fine washer. But if you're pinching pennies or even moderately cost conscious, you can get a washer with equal or better performance for hundreds less.
I am so happy with my purchase!
This washer is amazing! I purchased the washer and matching dryer after my very old washer died. I've owned this washer for 8 months and I've found many advantages... The clothes are just as clean as if they were washed in a top loading washer. I'm notice a significant decrease in my energy costs. I can add addition items during a wash unlike some front loaders. I hate doing laundry, but I absolutly love my washer!
Great entry-level front loader
It's $849 MSRP is very high, but nobody will ever pay that - sale prices are often as low as $629. Unfortunately for Samsung, there's tough competition in this segment. We'd recommend shopping around before making a final decision, as there are many other washers that perform as well for a similar or lower price.
However, this is one of the more efficient washers we've ever tested. On average, a year with the Samsung WF210ANW should cost no more than $31.
