The best notebook for movies in 2016 excels in display quality, speed and storage capacity.

To completely enjoy your movies, videos or satellite channels, the notebook must firstly have a large screen no less than 14 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768, while a good NVIDIA GeForce graphics card with 512MB dedicated memory, would further enhance your movie watching experience.

The next consideration would be the RAM size of the notebook which simply must be at least 2GB, accompanied by a HDD capacity of 500GB to hold all your data plus your movies. The best laptop for movies also has excellent audio quality and includes a DVD drive to provide the best entertainment possible.

Make no mistake; this can at times be a frustrating notebook.

Although the Chromebook 15's 1080p screen is plenty large, it doesn't offer a great picture.

The Toshiba Satellite Radius 15 P55W-C5212-4K certainly works well as a large-screen laptop for power users, with good, though not superb, performance, a brilliant 4K display, and excellent system memory and SSD storage capacity.

uninspired build quality

Poor value for money compared to other variants.
