  • The Toshiba Satellite P55-A5200 is a decent desktop replacement laptop that will keep regular PC users happy. It has the power to last more than the next few years, Windows 8 compatibility, and a huge non-touch screen for your media creation and appreciation.

  • The Toshiba Satellite P55t-A5202 is a handsome, Best Buy-exclusive, 15-inch laptop with a full-HD touch screen and comfy keyboard.

  • Toshiba has put out a very interesting option for those wanting a high resolution laptop that features a touchscreen at a relatively affordable price point with the Satellite P55t-A5202. For most people, it will work just fine provide enough performance for what they want to do. The downside is that there are a number of compromises to make it affordable including a larger overall size than the competition, less running time and a dimmer screen.

  • The Toshiba Satellite L55t-A5290 sports a great keyboard, strong sound and a touch screen, but you can get longer battery life and a sleeker design for less money.

  • Although it has all the ingredients for a good ultrabook or tablet, like an agile processor, svelte chassis, and attractive screen, the Toshiba Satellite U925T-S2120 misses the mark by trying to be both. The end result is a so-so ultrabook and a bulky tablet that converge through an awkward sliding hinge mechanism.

  • The sliding touchscreen of the Toshiba Satellite U925t makes this an intriguing, two-in-one Windows 8 device, but it falls short.

  • Toshiba tried to offer a unique hybrid laptop experience with the Satellite U925t but it just has a few too many small faults or just doesn't quite compare for price and features against most of the other hybrids available. About the best thing going for it is the fast boot times and data loads from its solid state drive. Beyond this, it has less resolution, lower running times, more noise and a keyboard and trackpad that just aren't as good as its competition.

  • For the user looking for a budget-friendly desktop replacement that will won't stray too far from the desk (or, more appropriately, the power outlet), the Toshiba Satellite S875-S7242 packs solid hardware into an affordable package while pumping out admirable benchmark scores that hold their own against more expensive systems.

  • The Toshiba Satellite S875 is a classic 17-inch notebook which is sure to make a decent family PC. Unfortunately, a "traditional" laptop may struggle to make the most of the new Windows 8 operating system. We won't go quite as far as to declare that every Windows 8 PC needs to have a touchscreen -- there is more than one way to skin an OS -- but we will say that this notebook fails to deliver the best Windows 8 experience.

  • Toshiba's updated mid-range 17-inch laptop does a good job at balancing its various features to provide a solid overall experience. It is one of the few systems to actually include a Blu-ray compatible drive in its price range although it does lack the full 1080p capable display. Surprisingly, the system is also a good deal lighter than must of the competition. Those who have to type frequently may find the keyboard a bit lacking however.
